Anthropic is considering an initial public offering that could raise as much as $100 billion and value the five-year-old AI company at about $2 trillion, according to bankers who spoke with potential investors. At that valuation, it would surpass SpaceX and rank among the largest public-market listings ever proposed.
JWST finds early galaxies may be four times more massive than thought. An international team using the James Webb Space Telescope examined nine massive early galaxies that had stopped forming stars and concluded they may contain substantially more faint, low-mass stars than prior estimates assumed. The inferred stellar populations could raise mass estimates for some galaxies by a factor of three to four, deepening the challenge of explaining how they formed so early.

AI-native accounting software company Rillet raised $100 million at a $1 billion valuation after reporting that its annualized revenue rate doubled in the preceding quarter.
